So Microsoft (small and flacid) has finally settled with fox and universal to produce the movie with a 2007 release date.

The two studios will play Microsoft $5 million against 10% of the gross for the property and Universal will distribute here in the US with Fox taking international sales. -Via JoBlo.com

Something i'm a bit happy about:
The company has wavered some since its initial demands and now both Universal and Fox will provide notes on the current script, which Alex Garland (28 DAYS LATER) will then rewrite. The game's developers won't have final approval on creative decisions but will be consulted on all decisions, including finding the director, which is to be the next assignment.

Those little geeky programmers didn't get their way completely. I don't know why.. I just like it when people don't get their way.. Maybe because I never get mine.

Side note: The release of the movie and Gaylo 3: Gayloriffic will coincide thus increasing the potential for raping the public for all their worth.. Dirty little public. Naughty.. Cheesey.. Yea
