help
Ok I just got an xbox and I am trying to softmod it cause i cant afford the chip rite now and i would like to back up the 4 games i bought with it.
Now my problem is i can not get the ftp to work.. Setting are as follows. Computer IP 192.168.0.1 SUB. 255.255.255.0 DNS left blank. XBOX IP 192.168.0.2 SUB 255.255.255.0 I open up cute ftp and try to connect but it keeps giving me an error. what am i doin wrong? I have a network card in my computer and hooked the xbox to it via cross over cable. and set the ip's. can anyone help?

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?! :mad: [B]OWNED! <3 TylerDurden![/B]

Do i have to change the dashboard somehow? I am pulling my hair out lol.

is that what the xbox says its coonnected at?
or is that what you set it at? you have to make sure the xbox is set to static ip
