hdd took a sh*t!
hey guys, my hdd got messed up..it had an error message that said something along the lines of partion collision error..after i installed GT4 using winhip. and im pretty sure i have to reformat the hdd again from scratch again. so how do i do that sense the ps2 hdd is not recognized on my computer as an ordinary hdd, thereofre i cant right click and select reformat disk, any help is good help..haha. thanx!

Is the PS2 HD Recognized in Winhiip?? If it is you can reformat with Winhiip. There is a way to get the HD recognized by windows XP....
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Administrative Tools\computer management.msc Now under the storage section to the left, go to disk management. Your PS2 drive should show up here. Right Click on the drive and you should have an option to reformat. Hope this helps.

If you go into FDisk, you can delete any partitions from there, format using the FORMAT command and then put it back in the PS2, let it format the drive and you're back as you were
