region code?
i am talking about the usa/jap/eur region. so, what sets this value? is it just somewhere in ip.bin? anyone know how to properly modify it? the proper values?
lets say i have two games, House of the dead 2, both jap and usa. now if i just simply replace the ip and 1st read bins from the usa and put them into the jap version, is that enough to make it a usa game? id do some testing, but i only have the jap version. anyone have any other ideas? this relates to mix matching light guns and regions. |

1. U cant use bin from other region game because for 99% the files are not identical.
2. Region info is in binary file (in katana - 1st_read.bin) and is not quite easy to find.
