about my burner??

was wondering if anyone out there can help...i am struggling to make back-ups of my ps2 games
i have tried using both nero & dvd decrypter...
i am now convinced that its my burner thats at fault here as i'm sure i'm doing everything else correct..

Philips pbdv824dp is my burner
has anyone else out there experienced any similar probs?? or even better anyone any ideas how to resolve this.

the disks are burning ok they just will not boot up in the ps2

And your ps2 is modded with???????

ps2 has a magic3 which is working ok with other back-ups it is only since i started using this particular burner that i have experienced problems

do you thing the fact that its a philips is causing the problem ?? as they tend to use plus ??
