help backing up shark tale

i'm trying to backup the disney shark tale game (u know what little boys are like with discs!) i've backed it up several times using different software but each time i'm just getting a black blank screen, the file size is only 1.26 so it's not burning much onto the dvd - could this have anything to do with it, but saying that i've been able to back up nemo and thats not much bigger but that works fine.

any help would be much appreciated

How are you booting your backups? Is it possible youve just made a bad burn?

Cool

For DVD backup, I use the newest Alcohol 120% but it only works one way:

1. Image making wizard (puts Alco image on hard drive).
2. Image burning wizard (burn dvd from Alco image).

DVD Writer: BTC 1108 firmware B131

Disks: El Cheapo GQ disks from Fry's/Outpost.com, DVD-R.

Alco automatically controls the read and write speeds, does not give me any choice, but get 100% working backup every time.

I tried mounting the image and doing disk to disk 'copy on the fly' and it never worked.
Tried the newest version of CloneCD, but sometimes worked, sometimes did not.
Tried DVD Decryptor, got coaster.

The newest/latest version of RecordNow is 7.21. Don't know about the DX version???

IMHO
