ok here it is i have modified it and it works
Steps to make to pass the SIM2 to DVD: First it is to copy the content of sims2_1 (cd1) to a folder, like for example "SIMS2_DVD". Now if you look at all the cd's there is a folder that is called "TSData" that contains another one call "Control" and in this is a file "controlx.dat" --> where the "x" corresponds to I number 1, 2, 3. Of this from: Sims2_1 TSData/Control/control0.dat Sims2_2 TSData/Control/control1.dat Sims2_3 TSData/Control/control2.dat Sims2_4 TSData/Control/control3.dat What there is to do is to copy of each CD, (Sims2_2, Sims2_3, Sims2_4), the corresponding file "controlx.dat" in the folder that was created "SIMS2_DVD" that contains the folder "TSData", along with "control0.dat" of cd1 (Sims2_1). Now we move to cd4 (Sims2_4) and copy all "xx_compressed.zip" to the main directory of the "SIMS2_DVD", these are: cs_compressed.zip da_compressed.zip de_compressed.zip in-uk_compressed.zip es_compressed.zip fi_compressed.zip fr-fr_compressed.zip it_compressed.zip nl_compressed.zip no_compressed.zip pl_compressed.zip pt-br_compressed.zip sv_compressed.zip Now you create another folder that is called "compressed". Of cd1 (Sims2_1) you unzip the file "compressed.zip" in the folder "compressed" (keeping its structure). Sims2_1 TSData/Res/ Sims3D Sound UserData Of cd2 (Sims2_2) you decompress the file "compressed.zip" in the folder "compressed" (keeping and respecting its structure). Sims2_2 TSData/Res/ Locale Sims3D Sound UserData Of cd3 (Sims2_3) you decompress the file "compressed.zip" in the folder "compressed" (keeping and respecting its structure). Sims2_3 TSData/Res/ Catalog LotTemplates Movies Sims3D Sound UI UserData Of cd4 (Sims2_4) you decompress the file "compressed.zip" in the folder "compressed" (keeping and respecting its structure). Sims2_4 TSData/Res/ (21 folders and 1 file) Catalog <-- Folder ........ ........ <-- Folder ........ Wants <-- Folder ContentRegistry <-- File and in the main folder of sim2 cd 4 the contents are Sims2_4 TSData/Sys/ (7 archives) 6 ini 1 sig Sims2_4 TSBin/ 1.0.0.932 ijl15.dll Sims2.exe Sims2_4 eaunistall.ico Sims2_uninst.exe Now we cut to the folder "TSData" of the folder "compressed", and we took it directory to the TSData of folder "SIMS2_DVD", being left within there is something: SIMS2_DVD TSData/ Control Head of cattle Sys The same we will do with the folder "TSBin" of "compressed", and we took it "to TSBin" of "SIMS2_DVD", is: SIMS2_DVD TSBin/ (44 archives) 41 archives 1.0.0.932 ijl15.dll Sims2.exe And as we come to the end of the process we move to the folder "compressed" copy the files "eaunistall.ico" and "Sims2_uninst.exe" to the main directory of "SIMS2_DVD". In the main directory of "SIMS2_DVD" there is a file that has to be modified "common_filelist.txt". ORIGINAL 1,1,Support \ *. * /s 1,1,eauninstall.exe 1,1,TSData\Control\control0.dat 1,1,Sims2.ico 1,1,CSBin\1.0.0.932 1,1,CSBin\PackageInstaller.exe 1,1,CSBin\properties.txt 1,1,CSBin\TS2BodyShop.exe 2,1,TSData\Control\control1.dat 3,1,TSData\Control\control2.dat 4,1,TSData\Control\control3.dat MODIFIED 1,1,Sims2_uninst.exe 1,1,eauninstall.ico 1,1,TSBin\1.0.0.932 1,1,TSBin\Sims2.exe 1,1,TSData\Res \ *. * /s 1,1,TSData\Sys \ *. * /s 1,1,Support \ *. * /s 1,1,eauninstall.exe 1,1,TSData\Control\control0.dat 1,1,Sims2.ico 1,1,CSBin\1.0.0.932 1,1,CSBin\PackageInstaller.exe 1,1,CSBin\properties.txt 1,1,CSBin\TS2BodyShop.exe 1,1,TSData\Control\control1.dat 1,1,TSData\Control\control2.dat 1,1,TSData\Control\control3.dat Once modified, we have completed out the process of making the Sims 2 DVD. |
