Whats the best P2P program to use?
I mostly like movies and use kazaa lite but it seems to be slow since the program hasn't had an update for almost a year now. Is there a better P2P program?

Damn, kazaa lite resurrection gave me a virus. Somekind of Bloodhound virus and my antivirus software couldn't detect it on the install and can't remove it either. Time to reformat.

Try using eMule from Sourceforge.
It is normally one of the top downloads or just do a search for eMule at http://www.sourceforge.net Hope this helps Peace http://www.mosiq.com Bringing Fans and Bands Together |

Go emule
Emule is by far and away the best.
It has about 50x the search capabilities of kaaza and although it seems to download very slow if at all at first it soon picks up speed. It does say in the help files that emule doesnt like to be watched and like a stubbon mule wont download if it is watched, well i know this is just a little joke of theres but the odd thing is it seems to be true. |

Kazaa is the best probably, but FTP servers are also good, if you know how to access them online.....

The best P2P program in my opinion is Kazaa. It is the easiest to use, and the downloads are very quick...most mp3s only take about a maximum of 2 minutes with a quick internet connection. When searching for mp3s, Kazaa automatically links together multiple users who have the same file, and when you download a song, it will detect the user with the fastest connection and automatically download from them. If a user cancels a download or the download stops for any reason, Kazaa automatically will find another user who has the same file, and pick up where the downloading left off. In addition, Kazaa offers a similar program identical to their free version called "Kazaa Plus", which offers an identical program to Kazaa, without any advertising. However, Kazaa Plus requires a monthly fee. The free version of Kazaa is still a great program and the best in my opinion. I think you should give it a try. If you have any futher questions, you know who to ask. I hope this helps.

Hi,
I think the best P2P program to use is LimeWire. You can download stuff really quick, and the avi's and mp3's are extremely good quality. WinMX just gives you a load of crap. Kazaa gives you a load of stuff that you don't want including crap. And you can't download anything on Shareaza. eMule downloads at about 3kb per second on a 512 kbps broadband connection. The best one now is Lime wire. |

For music I recommend Blubster. Pretty good speeds, only problem I came across was a router problem.
For everything else, use bitorrent. I made a couple of game video clips and released it with bitorrent, it's the best way to spread files while making sure your friends share them as well. It's a faster way to make sure people get the files in a faster amount of time. |

Bearshare
I think, the best P2P program is Bearshare. It's fast and you have a lot of files there.
