If it's loading everything up ok then why are you taking it back to the store?

Mine makes two small clicks initially and then boots everything fine. The two clicks are made by the lens focusing on the disc.

Simple way to tell how good yr laser is in an unmodded ps2. Back up a dvd movie and see if that plays in there. If it does then no laser problems.
