Dont know why i made a new post for this but ive looked about in these forums and it looks like its WAY to strict! .. everyone getting there topic closed, there accounts closed etc..calm down mods think your going over the top with your powers esp BountyWarrior , actually calling people offensive names in some posts.. For even saying this im prob gonna get blocked heh.

Too strict?? If ppl would calm the fúck down, read the rules and then do a Search to see if their question(s) have been asked before then MAYBE the mods didn't have to kick ass all the time. Every single day there seems to be a new thread about a crack for Toca race driver 2 even there's no crack...just to mention a poor example

Hehe, I hear ya... I have been pretty strict over this past few weeks, I put it down to stress. Those Fat & Gay comments was the end of it, I hope

But think of it like this, go to the PC Forum and look for posts by people like ash2dust, Tippex, ByteMare, krondike and other more 'senior members'. They have made comments along the lines of that the mods are sometimes too soft. So its a no win situation really. Ever since the forum got upgraded, a new feature has come to play, Temp Bans. Basically, instead of banning people outright now, we can now ban them for a certain amount of days. This should make it easier. Warez is Warez though, and anything relating to such topics, will always be handled as seen fit. Another problem is that people are just to lazy search the forums. They want everything gift wrapped.

Why is this post in the CD Protection Forum? Would have been better served in the PC Games or the GCW Support Forum

I agree with Bounty (the quick spill picker uppper) . We mods do get stressed many times. We are charged with keeping the peace, answering tons of questions, and making sure this site doesnt get shut down due to piracy posts. On top of that some of use try to make the threads run like a well oiled machine in our own ways. The PC section (which I rarely peruse) seems to have an etiquette system going where you are supposed to wait a couple weeks after a game is released to post about it and I think thats great.

I too like the temp ban options we now have but I wonder if maybe we should make a post stating what kind and how long the ban is in effect for. That way people dont just dissapear or even make a new account.


All in all, take it easy on us mods. We are here to help and to inform.

ok, well all ive seen so far is abuse and banage.. so you cant really blame me for thinking that , i can see your stressed but theres NEVER no need to abuse someone from a moderator, i just see one post saying abuse and thought it was a ongoing thing obviously not thought . Keep it cool guys

If you read the rules that are around these forums and abide by them there is no way you can get banned. Fact is, the majority of idiots that get banned have never taken a look at the rules or probably havent even read any of the threads in this site. They just post! I have seen this type of behavior before, and the question's answer with a 98% similar post 2 threads down.

Its just that people dont want to spend any time looking for themselves and want a personal answer every time.



Anyways, Im sure youll find that if you stick within the rules these forums can actually be really fun and informative.

ok , well everyone who read this post has learnt a lesson now so ok , i have fun here anyways , and Tyler i know your a good guy you signed up to gamerhell forums , thats for sale now though www.racewarz.com is opening soon , i would be greatfull if you can sign up to http://forums.racewarz.com its only beta at the moment but it would be good to have some members when its up and running.
