what writer would you recommend. I have a sony 16x dvd ide
"sony dvd rw dw-u12a +/-".
I wonder if this is the problem when trying to backup my ps2 games.

is there any other ones which you could recommend.

I use a Sony Dual format DvD burner and never had a problem, some others in here like the pioneer burners. Also i would stick with the -R format its not as hard on the laser, like Ritek 03s and 04s.

yea get the good old riteks and get a pioneer 107 there the best.
