What are the prices for lens?
How much would it be generally to replace a PS2 lens
I live in Canada so Canadian price or US price is fine and is it possible to change my nosolder mod chip to magic mod?

Depends on if you get a reconditioned one or a new one...
prices range from $45 to $80 USD delivered from most places depending on the laser and the condition Divineo, Lik-sang, neoasic etc all sell them but some places have huge minimum order quantities if you want new lens as apposed to re-conditioned which tend to not be so much re-conditioned as they are just simply ripped from dead consoles and may also be faulty themselves. Yes you can rip out the no solder and use another chip. I would go DUO or apple pro over the magic in anything between the V1 and the V8.

All chips play DVD movies, your station even without the chip can play them.
But if you mean out of region DVD movies then you will need either an add on like the Action replay 2 / Game shark2 / DVD regionX or you will need a chip like the DMS.
