Question DVD-VCD with CD Protect ??

Hi Allz,

I burn my dvd movies in vcd format( in 2 blank cds for backups).
I got DVD Copy Pro ( which use SmartRipper, DIVx, VCDImager and CDRWIN ).

I can successfully make 2 vcds with 1 dvd movie. Now, many of my friends wants the VCDs to view as they don't have dvd players. And I don't want them to copy it in their PC or make CD copy of my vcds.

How can I protect my vcds so the contents can't be copied in any PC and it can't be copied to any black CD even( as almost all writting softwares can do a "copy cd").

In CDMediaWorld.com, there are so many cd protection tools to choose from. But I am really confuse about which one would be best and easy for me to use - to use it to make dvd-vcds and to protect the vcds.

I got LG DVD-ROM DRD8080B and LG CD-RW CED-8080B.

Kindly help me out.

Peace

making a copy of a movie for someone that does not own the movie is illegal and talking about it is breaking the rules

ps the reason you didnt get any help is because it is illegal and breaks the rules

What I don't understand is, why make VCDs in the first place ?? If you have a DVD player and you actually own the movies that you copy ??

Seeing as you apparently don't like your friends enough to let them copy "your" movies, why the h*ll bother making VCDs in the first place if you have no trouble watching the original (?) DVDs ??

why is it that i get the impression that the vast majority of these types of questions are from ppl in hongkong etc who want to protect their illegal silvers they're trading from being copyable.. call me sceptical, but give me one good reason you would want to protect a vcd you 'made'.. (made being used in the term of actually produced the contents on the vcd, not the production of the vcd itself)
