games wont play
hi guys. and gals
having trouble playing new copied games. they play on my sons who has just had his chipped, but not on mine which has been chipped for some time. (longer than 18 months) i have evox istalled. and i have slayers evox boot disk. i did a bios and chip check and this is what came up Bios. evoxd.6 (eject fix) Bios in memory unknown or software exploit (3131846444) chip type LPC based (sst 49LF020) do i need a newer chip or can i flash the bios and chip with evox, dont want to do it coz im not sure which bios and chip the evox will flash. any help fellas. i just did a search for this chip and it says "This is a 9 wire mod that can be used with disable switch. The SST49LF020 is the same chip used in the matrix mod and can be programmed with bios images the matrix can support. This includes the Cromwell Linux bios that is free of Microsoft code, for legal reasons this is the only bios image that is recommended by Llamma.com any other use of this chip is at your own discretion and not supported nor endorsed by Llamma.com. well guys i fixed the problem myself. i reburned the game doing a data burn, but i also used isocraction on the defaule xbe file before burning it. i.m not sure which one did the trick but i will do both from now on, if anyone is having the same probs and this works for you the happy copying.....
