Generals Cd-Fix

hey all, I'm trying to get rid of the annoying CD check in C&C Generals (non Zero-Hour) so that my roommate can join me in some LAN games, but I don't entirely know how this thing is supposed to work.

It says to replace the game executable with the one provided in the rar, but no such executable is present. The only thing in the rar is a byte for byte carbon copy of the game.dat file, and I've tried copying this one to my generals folder with no luck as it still asks for that CD.

What am I supposed to do to get the no-Cd crack to work correctly?

Test the no-cd patch that's are avible there!

There's only one no-cd patch there and it's the one I've been trying to get working, but it still doesn't do anything.

Pardon my ignorance, but where do I get that release? I don't see it anywhere on GameCopyWorld's list for Generals. Also, I have ver 1.7 of the game, will that release work for that version? Thanks for all the help so far!

I'm looking for something similar. There was an online crack available for 1.06 but I can't find anything for 1.07. Would really like to have this if it does exsist.

had to wait 5 minutes until the download button changed from offline to online...
