Problems with RW

i recently purchased fifa 2004 ,and since i always make a backup of the games i like ,but im outa blanks ,i decided to burn it on dvd rw.

ok so first i made an image with RecordNow DX (worked perfectly) and then burned it on a Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-RW (burning was also perfect).But now when i try to play it on my PS2(scph 30004 r with messiah 1) ,it doesnt seem to read it ,it goes to the red screen (please insert ps2 dics or whatever).I also tried making an image and burning with dvddecrypter ,that doesnt work also.

appreciate it if anyone could give me some adivce.
