Dvd-r copies with a Mac and a PC
I have an interesting problem. I bought a used game from Blockbuster. It played fine in my v4 PS2. It is pretty scratched up. When I tried to copy it on my PC with a Pioneer A05 burner with firmware 1.30 I kept getting a PX engine error. I took it to work and tried copying it with a Pioneer 104 on a Mac using Roxio and it copied fine. I use Recordnow max 4.5 at home and I have also tried Nero and Alcohol 120% with the same error or it shows an error in the same % with the other copy programs. So I thought it was the damaged disc. So why did it copy at work on the Mac with the older Pioneer burner? My Pc burner is setup as the master and I have had this problem at home with other scratched discs and when I copy them at work they are fine. I don't understand?
