red/green flashing no startup

i was working with evox dash and was trying to get the xbmp to work and then it happend NO MORE XBOX!!! and now i am really woried that i can trhrow my xbox away plaese advise?????

First, what dashboard was setup? Second, does it load up xbox games, dvd movies, or anything at all? Third, was your xbox unplugged at all after the incident and if so, for how long?

Try and be a lil more specific on what you did beofre the problem occured.

i was trying to get xbmp to work and i was working in the evox.ini file and changed somting now my flashxp wont connect anymore
and i get the number 13 or 14 on my tv
i was working with a bios with no name and it wont startup annything at all no games no evox iso disk

So, you tried to do a bios upgrade? Try turning the chip off, then see if the xbox boots games (originals). Just stick the game in the dvd rom, power off, then power back on.

If it boots games with the chip off, but not the dashboard, then you either need to reprogram the chip you have or get a new chip. If your xbox does not boot anything at all with or without the chip, then the onboard tsop was flashed badly, or something may have been wrong with the xbox hardware.

Oh yah, if you cannot get it to work, do not throw away your xbox. Go on ebay and sell the power supply starting for about 25 or $30, the dvd-rom could go for more than $60-80 (if it reads burned cd's it will go for more), and the case for $10-20. It is possible to sell your xbox parts and make enouph money to buy a used/refurbished one.
