SafeDisc problem

This is what I've done:
1) Made IMAGE.IMG with IMAGE.CCD and IMAGE.SUB
2) Wrote the IMAGE whit Alcohol120% and SafeDisc2 options
3) Run the autorun from the CD-READER (the other slot of mine!)
4) Installed the game

Then on another PC:
1) Run the autorun from the CD-READER
2) Installed the game...ops... SafeDisc screen...ops... it doesn't work!!!

Is there some difference between my and the other PC?
What do I have to do with IMAGE.CCD and IMAGE.SUB?

the other 2 files are part of the main image, they contain sub channel data and other info, once burned they arent important, it sounds like you havent made a good image, check that your hardware is capable of burning sd2 images, if it can then try reading the orignal cd again at a lower speed when making the image

Maybe you had the emulation features of Alcohol or Clone CD activated while playing on computer 1?

Yes, I've though that this could be the tricky part of the game...
So I've installed Alcohol120% for a trial on the second PC, but nothing...

Moreover... I've tried to install the game on a THIRD PC (an old IBM ThinkPad, without CD-BURNER and with Win98SE just mounted) and everything works fine!!!

I can't understand...

Are you playing the game from a cd-writer in the second PC? If so may be because of the ATIP check.

Sometime I feel like I can't be understood...

I'm always using a CD-READER to install the game, on every PC I've used.
I used the first PC CD-WRITER only to write the image.

Was just checking all the bases, there are stupid people out there
Anyway...have you tried running the original on the second machine to see if it works - it may be that there is a program installed on that machine that is blacklisted by Macrovision - so when you try to start a SD game (even with original), if it detects such programs it refuses to start.
Daemon Tools, Playbackup, Insektors? If so, uninstall them or look for an update.

None of them...
I've tried to mount the IMAGE.IMG on Alcohol120% virtual drive and it works well.

So I suppose it was a image burning problem, but why I can run the installer on the other two PCs?

because maybe the other 2 pc's have less tempermental cdrom drives (clones that work are heavily reliant on the cdrom they are running from, i found that in most cases cheap and nasty cdroms stood a higher chance of being able to run the clones without problems) arent as tempermental when it comes to subchannel data etc..
