File Attribute Problems! HELP PLZ!

I'll state no that this is NOT an Iso request... but help with a slight prob I have with one.

It burns fine. But I wanted to have a little fun like a few ppl I know and replace the title cards in the game with my own made or edited ones.

Now here's the problem.
All the files in the ISO are "Read Only" and you can't turnf this attribute off while there inside the ISO.

How do I get around this?
I would ask my mate but he's gone on holiday to florida till september.. O.o

Anyone who can help?

Extract the files, change their attributes and reburn your game...

Well.. thats the thing.

When I extract the file, it has no attrinutes...

And I tried this program that can do it.. but I can save it to I pay £20.

So I need anougther way around.

I have been told to extract all, edit, re-ISO then reburn.. but I dunno how to make ISO files.

So need someone skilled who can help me. I hate all this. :\

Use CDMage to extract your files (it's free).
Use CDRWin to make an 9660 iso file, or mkisofs.
CDRWin is easier to use. You should find how to make it on the web.

Thnx. I'll try that.

I did find a free editor last night... but for some reason, it kept doing sommat to the ISO on save, as it left my boot CD stuck trying for hours to load it and nothing happening

I'm having to use ISObustor to extract if that ok... CDMage doesn't seem tobe excepting it.

Ok.. well I'll let ya know how it goes anf I'll post the screen caps of my edit if I get it to work. ^^

Ok.. looks like I'm gonna have to type a bit up to explaine wahts going on as I'm still having no luck.

1. Could not overwrite files inside ISO using Deamon.

2. Extracted files using ISO Buster, overwrote files I wanted to edit, and burnt them. Mhz selection comes up with no txt then ran till end of games intro vid and then went blank and stopped dead on nothing.

3. Tried editing inside WinISO. Makes ISO useless. Utopia stays on silver raindeer for hour trtying to load it and can't.

4. Tried editing in CDMage. Won't except ISO.

5. Tried to extract with ISO Buster, overwrite the edited files, then make ISO in CDRWIN and then burn ISO in Nero (as always). Same effect #2.

There has to be sommat... this is driving me nuts now.

If #5 doesn't work, your edited files are bound to be incorrect, r you've messed something making your ISO.
