Hi folks. I have tried several times downloading a no-CD patch for BF1942, which I own, but NONE of the words "File Archive [File size] are actual links, just plain text, and I can't access the download. What am I missing? A forum search produced no relevant hints for me. Thanks for your time and help! Nachetti

Hi there, thanks for your prompt reply, but that won't work... all "links" appear on the page as plain text, no right click and save option on the context menu, there is no link to anywhere. Is there some foul magic at work here?
NOTE: I have ADSL (European flavor of DSL) with a 3com 812 router which by default blocks a few ports (Netmeeting and stuff like that) but which does NOT keep me from downloading from file download links in HTML pages, and a software firewall (Zone Alarm Pro; IE is authorized for Internet traffic in & out). Any clues yet? |

Disable all adblocking software - if these are detected then it wont show the download link
