equestriad 2001

I have a copy of Equestriad 2001 (PC) 1.11 and my computer runs on windows xp , at various points in the game it boots me out and the sound repeats itself consistently. i have tried updating graphics and sound drivers , does anyone know of a patch or update that might correct the problem?
