So it's possible to backup GameCube games?

Hello everyone out there,
My question is that is it possible to backup gamecube games? I need to know because im thinking of buying the gamecube but i would like to have a backup of my originals.
Please tell me if this is true.
also, please direct me to the link where there are examples of the backup procuders. Thanks very much.
