Exclamation Microsoft Windows CE for the Sega Dreamcast

Anyone know anything about Microsoft Windows CE for the Sega Dreamcast? It's just that I only lately really took much notice of the 'Compatiable with Windows CE' sticker on the front of my Sega Dreamcast console and was wondering what it was all about... Is there a legal download of it? Is it worth the time of day? If you know something, but arn't allowed to post it in this forum, I'd appreciate an e-mail at [email protected].

Thanks!

It only means you can program your games using WinCE. You don't need to use SH4 compiler.

winCE is a crappy OS which lazy developers use to make quick and dirty pc ports whom most of them run very poor compared to PC (TR4, slave zero). Katana games are officially better.

The only thing i like about winCE is its ability to run various custom made ports and emulators, for example the NES emu and the homebrew quake 1 and Doom ports runs perfect on winCE.
