I have the program XBMP 2.3 and tried following the instructions the best I could. I edtited the file for network settings and then ftp it over to my f drive that didn'y work then I tried the C I just can't seem to get it installed.
Is this program necessary for rippinng tracks like the original dash allowed to put albums into games? If someone has a bit of time and dosen't mind detailing how to instal it and exactly what its for I know its a media player but the manual I downloaded seemed aimed at advanced users as I am not to sure what roots are and etc. Thanks alot!!! GO OTTAWA!!! LIVE OR DIE WENSDAY!!!

This program is mainly meant for playing movies (divx, mpg, avi etc...), but can play music. If you ask me, I dunno why people just don't use the xbox's cd ripper/player to play cd's. I mean, it changes them to wma files (which are just as compressed as mp3's) and also allows you to take advantage of the music feature of "those" games.
Anyways, you are using evolution-X, right? FTP xbmp to the E drive (in a new folder), then just make a link to it in evolution-X by editing the ini file.
