I have bought 3 packs of 25 datawrite 4 speed ( the red ones) The first two packs of 25 were perfect and i thought , great found a disk that works perfect with my pioneer 05 burner. Then the third pack. Well i have 9 left and every one from the pack of 25 has failed. You cant always tell that they have failed untill you do a disc to Harddrive copy back.

Well i have spoke to 2 people who sell discs and they have said Datawrite are known to make good discs for a while then everynow and then send out pile of junk. Loads of people from where i buy mine have been bringing the datawrites back.

What i look for is now the Dark purple ink, the one they use on traxdata disks as these seem never to fail. I found a supplier of A4M discs that use this dark ink maybe (RITEKS) and they always work.

Be warned u dont know if its burned succesfully untill u do a copy back .
