CloneCD????????????????????

Okay, so I have cloneCD version 3 and am having biiiigggg snags with it.

I have used it to burn images before sucessfully but can't get it to work now.

Have been experimenting with it and for some reason between 15% and 30% the sub buffer starts to run out and when at 0% burn stops.

This is getting a bit agrivating and as I say I have used this before with sucess so am confused.

Reason I am using version 3 is version 4 doesn't like my LG burner or my Pioneer 104.

Any Ideas anyone??????

Thanx in advance

I'm not suprised that Clone CD 4 doesnt like your A04......

I am surprised that Clone CD 3 likes it.....

Especially since the A04 cant write sub-channel data.....

Anyways.......

I have the A05 (which will read/write in raw/dao 96) and a LG burner, and Clone CD 4 LOVES both....

What kind of LG burner do you have (ie model # etc..)

No.... Neither version 3 or 4 will even look at my dvr104.

Have old LG8080b writer. CloneCD3 will have a go but bugs out cos of lack of sub buffer.

CloneCD4 does about 5% and then complains of long write and bugs out.

The only thing really bugging me is that I have used clone3 to burn cd's before so am confused. Have rebuilt computer a few times since then but still using same burner and cloneCD so am stuck.

Thanx for reply!!

Something else you can try is run a cleaning disc through your cd burner....

I had a similar problem once before and a cleaning disc took care of it......

The laser in your burner needs cleaning just like a PS2......

Although most everyone (including myself ) never thinks about the POOR old burner.....

I had a post awhile back when I first got my cleaning disc. My burner was on the fritz and I got the idea and said why not run it through just for fun. Helped a ton. Now about once a mobth I run my cleaning disc through all my drives.
