hi all

im looking for a no cd crack for Mortal Kombat 4.

i have brought the offical game by sold out software.

ive found loads of patches on the net but none work, so i guess im either doing the patches wrong or they are not working.

can anyone please help me by posting a link to a working patch for this game.

@ houseparty.. I dont own Mortal Kombat 4 but i do have a few games from the sold out range (colin mcray rally 2, theif ect) and what i have found is when i back up my sold out games i do not need a nocd crack to run them, All i seem to need is the backed up disk so my guess is the protection being used is "cd check" wich just needs the backed up cd in the drive and no crack or fixed exe is needed. However when the games are new(ish) and not in the sold out range then obviously they may need a crack Hope this info helps

Also did you even look in game copy world for what you requested?? I just HAVE and mortal combat 4 crack is here

You said "you have tried loads of different cracks but none work so you might be doing it wrong" Have you used a no-cd crack that works in the past?
What i mean is are you doing it correctly? (i will explain what to do as though you dont have a clue) The normal method for a no-cd crack is this = D/L no-cd crack but make sure its the same version of the game your running, Install the game (maximum install) then after install go into the game directory (double click the "my computer icon on the desk top for win 98, or use the start button and acess "my computer" for different versions of windows,(im unsure wich one is done like that but i think its XP) Once inside "my computer" go into your hard drive (default is normaly CRIVE unless you have changed it) Once inside your c:drive go inside "program files" and then look for the folder the game is in. (this can have the manufactours name on the folder or the name of game ect) Once inside the game folder find the original exe (thats the same picture as the shortcut for the game on the desk top,providing you choose to have a short cut) Once your in here minimize the window and go to where ever you saved the no-cd crack and unzip it to your desk top(make sure you make a folder for it on your desk top for it to in as it can promt you to overwrite your short cut on the desk top) once unzipped and in the folder you just made right click on the no-cd crack (same pic as the original exe and short cut on the desk top normaly) and select copy. Then close this window down after you have selectd the copy option from the drop down menu and re-open the game folder from the task bar at the bottom of the screen and right click some where in here where it is blank and select the paste option from the drop down menu. You will be prompted to overwrite or cancel this opperation and simply choose the overwrite option and thats it m8. There are other ways of doing a no-cd crack but this one in my opion is easy for beginers. hope this info helps you out, it bloody better cause it took long enough to type

firstly of all many thanks for your long reply.

i was already doing what you posted.

the problem seems to be that the exe from the game isnt the same as the ones im downloading (there is no picture on the exe im downloading for starters m8 and when im trying to replace the main exe i dont any message.)

i have tried about 6 patches for mortal kombat and they dont work for me.

i tried the ones from game copy world but no luck.

if the exe i have downloaded dont have the same picture as the one in the game is it not worth trying them then???

I just made a back up of this game but again it still asked for a cd, i insert the cvd and then it works fine, but i like to play games without having to insert cds all the time

Are you sure you are D/L a No-Cd crack and not a fixed exe??
If it is a fixed exe do you know what to do?? Its not the same as a no-cd crack m8 (as far as i understand a fixed exe only lets you play with a backed up cd in the drive,its not a nocd fix like a nocd crack)
1st check to see if its a nocd or fixed exe you have been trying to use but i can tell you this m8 GCW are only hosting a fixed exe wich obviously wont let you play without the cd. You will have to check all the normal sites for a nocd crack if you dont want to use your backed up cd in the drive

@ Watchout: No i diddnt stop for a breather as im a super fast typer But i thank you for your concern about my health and possible side effects to holding breath for long periods

what i mean is that i download a no cd crack for motal kombat 4.

when i open the zip folder of the download i see a exe and a nfo file.

i then find the game in programme file and see the original exe of the game.

i then copy and paste the cracked exe in the same folder as the orginal exe .

but i dont get the message i normaly get when i patch other games.

i see this message when i try to patch say super power

this folder already contains a folder called super power do you wish to replace it.
i then click yes, but when i do this with motal kombat 4 the no cd exe just goes into the folder.

i hope you understand what i mean m8

if it´s not protected with securom, send the original exe to [email protected] and also tell me the errormessage when playing without cd-rom in drive.
i should be able to crack this...

the exe is encrypted cause my disassembler will fail to open it

i have tried this patch and it didnt work m8

i cant see a version of the game .
all i can say is that its a budget game made the sold out software.

budget titles mainly uses the newest version (above 1.0).
have a look at the official site of Mortal Kombat 4.
