civIII
I was making another back-up copy of my CivIII game because knowing me, i'll have my first one scratched up and not working within a week, so I went to try it out, and it starts up, i click play Civ III, and then the screen goes back to my desktop and i get an error, Civilizations3.exe is not functioning correctly and must close, if anyone could help?

I take it this doesn't happen with the original ? Make sure the original works so we can rule out driver issues. Did you use a crack or did you try an exact copy ? With which program did you make the copy ? Is the game patched to the latest version ?

Correct, driver issues are ruled out. There is no crack in the CivIII cd. I used clone CD to create the back-up. No, it's not patched to the latest, i dont see why there are patches since civIII isnt multiplayer, im not talking about the expansion Play the World. |
