newbie magic3.5 ps2 install

got my magic 3.5 kit today,but cant work out what the tester probe is for or how to use it ,and where is the best place to tape the circuits boards to.very poor directions on website,no instructions sent

Who did you get the chip from??. The clip is not to hard to install although i dont like them and you still need good soldering skills to preform the install. detailed instructions on how to assemble the clip as well as diagrams are at www.chipzone.com.

S isnt very clear int he diagram

It goes to the left of where the arrow is pointing, its a little resistor with silver bands, it goes on the right of that resistor

Also the instruction for the clip on the bottom of the board suck, theres one solder point they dont show, that you have to solder..

Also the clip that snaps onto one of the chip kinda sucks, support the board firmly and press it on there, be very carefuil you can snap the PS2 board or the little waffer chip too

Also have fun with it, it only loads maybe 25% of the games I have
