Backups of music CDs not playing
This is happening more and more often. I burn a backup of a music CD, and when I try to play it, I hear no sound. The tracks are found, the time display shows the CD being played, but it's as if only silence was recorded. I managed to get around this a couple of times by saving the tracks to disk with Nero and then burning them on a CD, but now I'm stuck with a CD of which I can't save the tracks due to some protection.
ClonyXL detects no protection on the audio CD. My burner is an ASUS CRW-4816A. |

Nero 5.5.8.0 bundled and the latest CloneCD. Both exhibit the same problem. Notice that the burner does data CDs perfectly, as well as audio CDs that aren't copies (ie, built from wav or mp3 files).

CD BACKUPS
Do they play on your PC ??
..If they play on your PC, but not on your HI-FI, you need to finalize the CD after burning. ...If the Cd is not working on anything, try to reinstall NERO, and have a look for drive update for your CDR/RW. If that dosen't work.......U'VE GOT A PROBLEM BUDDY!! GOODLUCK...BIGpol |
