Clone problem
I'm a n00b here... I looked through past threads and didn't come across anything regarding my particular problem, so here it goes...
I make backups of every PSX game I obtain. Some time ago I accquired Tales of Destiny 2, made a backup copy with CloneCD 3.4., and archived the CCD files. Recently I burned the CCD files to a disc and though it booted up just fine in Virtual Game Station, it will not boot on my PSX or my PS2. I've tried burning the image with both CloneCD 3 and 4, but no matter how I burn it, it still won't boot on my console(s). Has anybody else run into such a problem? Any suggestions/ideas? It's not like I can't play the game, as I've got the original, but I'm still very curious as to why this is happening.

what stage does it get to in the boot process?
are you using different media now to what you used before in the past? do your other backups still boot alright? it might be your laser... silly as this may sound try positioning your console on its side and then try booting up the game It might work in your PC as your CD-Rom drive laser is stronger than your PSX laser.
