playing games off PC HD or DVD ROM
Okay, I read on the X-Box Media Player homepage that the newest version can play DivX movies that or located on a networked PC's HD. So my question is, if we can do that, do you think we're far off from being able to play a game off the networked PC's HD? Or even better, why not off the PC's DVD or CD-ROM? That would allow you to use any media your CD-ROM can read. Anyone have any insight on why this can or can't work? Thanks!

I don't think it's possible because there are too many files in a game (and loading times would be very slow). You would have to have the program receiving the data running in the xbox's memory while you play the game. This will make the game choppy, and add to loading times.
