cd audio skippimng problems with ps2 moded

i have a ps2 moded with magic 3 chip
and i have problems when y put a audio cd to play
it skips..

when i put an original doesnt have that problem!

it is something wrong? with the chip?
or is the machine..

or it could be the speed of burning the audio cd´s?

what speed should be recommended for this?
