How to backup No One Lives Forever 2 with a crack?

hallo there guys!

so, how can i backup nolf 2 with a crack? i don't need a 1:1 copy, it just has to work!

if anybody could tell me how to do, this would be great!

Use the temp directory method, read up on it at GCW

CD-Copy Instructions (1 DATA Track):

Create the following temporary directory:
TempDir : C:\TEMP\CD
Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir.
Replace the original main executable with the Fixed Executable or No-CD Executable.
Burn the contents of TempDir to a CD-R and use the same CD-Label as the original CD.
Remove/Clear the TempDir.
Play the game!

two questions:
can i put the crack in a new folder (which i create in the temp dir)? so that i needn't replace the original file?
does this temp dir burn-mode also work with the new cd-protection SecuRom New V2 ???
