2x Burn On A04 - requirements....HELP!!

Hi, I am a newbee please help.

I am having problems burning at 2x with my A04, 1x is no problem. I have a P3 933, with an intel M/Board with 133 Mhz FSB. The DVD reader is a Teac 16x and is on the primary IDE channel with the HDD and the writer (A04) is on the secondary IDE channel on it's own.

When I use Nero it let's me select 2x but fails right at the start of the burn, as I said 1X is no Problems. Does anyone out there know what I can do. Do a need a mother board with a 266 Mhz FSB?
