Hello Everyone,
I seem to be having a problem connecting my two machines together on C&C Red Alert 2 using IPX. I don't think it's my network settings, because i have no problem connecting other games through IPX. I.E. Startrek Armada, Armada 2, Commando's Behind enemy lines. Both machines are running WindowsXP Corporate Edition and are linked through a crossover cable between a netgear 100mbs adapter and a realtek 100mbs adapter. I have ICS enabled but no Firewall. I dont want this problem to beat me so can somebody please offer any suggestions? Thnx Kryo |

At the Main Menu
Go to OPTIONS -> NETWORK and under LAN SETTINGS change the network card ID address on one of the machines. Had the same problem with our XP machines here. Special Agent AD Inc. |

We had the same problem (could see in the lobby but not game) and the change of address did the trick. Try changing both 'puters again. Click on the red arrow and pull down a different address.
That fixed it for us.... Special Agent |
