RICOH MP5125A-DP DVD+RW/+R....is this a good writer?
hi all im comletely new to dvd writers can anyone tell me if this writer is any good? its the only one i have seen within my budget! lol
and also cos i know absolutely nothing would it be suitable for backing up my dvd ps2 games i.e is it compatible with copy software? ] thanks

It should work providing you have a v5 or newer PS2.

If I were you I would either get a -R/RW Drive. Or wait for the price of the -R/RW drives to go down to an affordable price. At the moment the prices in DVD burning technology is dropping at a rapid rate. Last year the prices of DVD burning equipment was like double what it is now and the DVD -R were 25$ a peice.. Now you can pick up a pack of 3 for 9.99$ So if i were you I would just either gather as much money as u can now and get a pioneer or just wait for the prices to drop to yer level. No point in buying technology that is being beaten out by the compotition as we speak.
