Ps2 Backups

Hi

I'm new to this forum. Was wondering is it possible to backup ps2 games without a dvd burner like you can a dvd film?
if so what programs are available to do this.
I have bought some copy games which work on my ps2 as it has a chip in it but the games are on normal 80 min disks.
Can you only backup cd rom games and which games are available as cd rom.

To answer your question, yes you can backup a ps2 dvd game to a cdr if you rip it. But you may loose some video and/or sound. It can be a very difficult thing to do, and is rather hard to explain.
