Links 2003 problems.....

Made a backup of Links 2003 with Plex 40/12/40A, using CloneCD 4.0.1.6. The game starts and runs happily for about 5 mins, then the screen goes black and nothing happens. I then have to reboot. Tried both the cracked version of RuKsHuK.exe and the original, both with the same result. I run DX 8.1 with Nvidia 30.82 drivers for my Ti4600. Older drivers do the same. Funny thing is, the game runs perfect under Windows XP! Can anyone explain this?
