my copy works with a no-cd patch.
just copy all the files in a temp folder NOT the 2 pff files that are rather large then install the game from the orignal and copy out the 2 pff files that have now been returned to their proper size then burn it to a disc ...no probs |

i tried replacing the pff files from the original installation but they are still too big to fit on a cd. small.pff is 96,302kb and terrain.pff is 370,372

well i figured that if i applied the patch then tried writing the disc it would fit but still didn't so i tried burning the disc without the commanche4 demo and all worked till i tried installing from the copy i made. when i tried installing it gave me numerous errors about missing parameters or something. i don't think you can copy this game!!! its driving me nuts!

If you want the Comanche4 Demo on your backup-Disc then let DirectX away from your copy and it fits a 700 MByte CD-R.
