Ultra 2?
Does anybody know anything about the Ultra 2 chip? Since the US Messiah is taking so long, this site - http://www.precisionmods.com/ultra2.htm - is using the Ultra 2 instead.
It seems pretty good, but I can't find much info about it. So, I'm wondering if anybody knows if it would harm the laser like the Nova chips I read about would. I tried searching the post archives, but nothing came up.

I'm not really sure about the Ultra 2......(probably a clone) Although the site you referred to is out of stock anyway.......
The also have the Phoneix (which is a Messiah)... Why not just get the Magic 2????  Its available and does everything the Messiah does.....

They are supposed to be getting some of the Ultra 2s back in stock this week. The Pheonix/Messiah is just taking forever to come out, so I need an alternative. As for the Magic 2, the installers and people on their forums are all saying that there are problems with the Magic 2s.

What problems? Can you tell me? There is nothing wrong with MAgic2's..The recent Magic2 that was for Ver.7 had problems gotten fixed..Now it's up to date for the most part..Face it! No matter how long you wait Messiah isn't coming out anytime soon. There are several more clones as of now..
