Cannot read DVD-RW that I have written with Sony DVD Recorder RDRA1

Ok guys here is the story. I have recorded something on my DVD Recorder from TV and I used a ver1.1 CPRM Enabled disk to do so because I was told that that is the only way I will get to record the program.

Since then I have played it on my DVD player on my TV without a problem at all but the other day I purchased a PC and I was trying to play the disk I had recorded on it and guess what? It tells me that it cannot see a DVD. I tryed to read the data on the DVD to see what the story was and whats even worse is that I cannot even read the data! When I also tryed to see how much space the disk has left it says absolutely nothing which is confuzing me to no end.

The question here is why can I not read the data on my PC when I know for a fact that there is stuff on it cause when I try to play it on my DVD Video machine it plays.

If anybody here can help me out it would be of great help cause this problem is giving me a headache.
