Mac Burning?

I have access to a mac g4 with a "super drive", can I use that to burn the xbox games? I know for a fact that ps2 games burnt onto dvdr's work from this burner, so I don't see why xbox games will not. I think that if I use the methods listed online to copy the files then use an ftp program to transfer them to the mac I should be able to burn them correctly then. Please give me some advice, I do not want to buy anything if this isn't going to work. Thanks

Most macs started to come with the Pioneer A03/A04. You should be able to create XBOX backups with any dvd drive as long as you get the right burn settings.

I plan on hooking the xbox up on my home network and copying the files to my pc, then adding them to an iso, and then from there have purchased a usb enclosure for my old 40 gig hard drive, which i will be using to transport the images from my pc to the mac wich i will be burning them on. Check out www.tigerdirect.com or www.pricewatch.com if your looking for the hd to usb enclosure.

Its not all that much work, this is actually easy stuff. Is your mac going to be on the same network as your xbox? If so then you may be able to ftp to the xbox right from the mac, or you can use this thing called virtual pc which i believe can allow macs to share files with pc's, I have never used it but its worth a try. If you have an old hard drive laying around then the good enclosure from tiger direct will cost you $79, thats less than 2 games if your thinking about it that way, so not a bad deal. I have a rep with tiger direct ,if your looking to buy from them I can give you his direct line and he will take care of you. Also mac can read fat partitions but not ntfs, keep this in mind if your messing around with it. If it your mac you can also just open it up and stick a hard drive in it, then you wouldn't need the usb enclosure. Just let me know if you need any help.
