Dance Dance Revolution

I have the Kalisto and Echelon releases of the two Dance Dance Revolution games available on the Dreamcast, but am having difficulties making them VGA compatible.

The technique I have used, and has worked on every other game except these two titles, is the Echelon selboot tutorial combined with changing the value after JUE in the IP.BIN file to 0799A10.

It seems strange that only these two releases can not be made self bootable and VGA compatible through the above method. Has anyone else managed a successful conversion?
