raw 96

My writer sony crx145e supports raw 96 but it cant write sd2 with cloneCD3, why cant it write sd2?? it reads in raw-dao 96. Both write and read is the same as yammaha 21-2200.
WHAT NEEDS TO WRITE SD2???
