Maybe the setup.exe is also protected like in Westwood games. And yes, the CD-label will make a difference.

If the game is protected with a version earlier than SD 2.51, then you could use Unsafedisk to unwrap the setup.exe

Or there may be one on the net.

If the above isn't possible, then install from original if you can't do a 1:1 copy.

yep

I think the problem is the incorrect cd label... i look around the web but i only find the no-cd patch.
Im going to burn another cd with the original label and post the results!

Lightbulb One solution

If you have 2 cd units in your computer ie one reader and one burner. Put both disks in them. One in the reader and one in the burner. Now you dont get that annoying error during setup . Worked for me anewayz.

well if you put the original and the backup in its probally installing from the original and thats why u dont get the error. And what if your original breaks you cant install so it kinda defeats thr purpose of a backup

Your cd-labels are wrong, that's why you're getting these errors.
They should be Bloodomen2-1 for CD1 and Bloodomen2-2 for CD2

(Not Bloodomen2_1 and Bloodomen2_2!!)
