chip fitted or will the chip work in any version of ps2

thanx charlie just a m8 has just bought a ps2
and will need a chip i will get deatils where to go
when he is ready
also i want my neo 2.2 removed and replaced eventually
with a messiah is this easy 4 your m8 2 do

Taking NEO2.2 out isn't a problem - he'll take care. But it's the potential laser damage that the NEO2.2 might have caused. Messiah goes in easy enough but then won't play DVD-Rs unless there is a considerable amount of calibration or even a new laser. That has to be taken into account.

new laser is about £50
can u boot dvdr with neo 2.2 if u can then lase b fine with messiah to
if u got no dvdr games not sure charlie m8 installer has dvdr film that will boot if it boots plays film then laser should b ok for games

hat a cheek! My famous 'mate round the corner' does actually test his work and of course he has a DVD movie - Region 1 at that!

all i meant was he could use dvdr film to c if laser was ok before he even removed neo2.2

You can now add PAL: SCPH-30002R to the list, as I have one of those, and the Messiah works brilliantly.
