700MB/80min CD-R?

I have HP CD-Writer plus 9110i which supports 650MB/74min CD-R&CD-RW, according to product description. My question is, if it's possible to use 700MB/80min CD-R&CD-RW? Some games like Ghost Recon is 654MB and I can't burn that on 650MB CD-R, or can I? Any help would be great

Hello there,
Yes, you can use 700MB/80 Min CD's or CDRW's with your HP writer.
And yes, you should be able to fit 654MB on a 650MB disc. Sounds weird I know, but you can normally squeeze another 10MB or so from a CD.
You might have to make sure the Finalize CD option is ticked though. Most burning software will do this automatically if doing a straight 1:1 copy of a disc. However, if you are making up a cd, you may have to set this manually.

Hope it helps.
