Copying Max Payne (read subchannel???)
When your copying SafeDisc2 games, do you have to read subchannel data too???

Yes you do have to read sc data, otherwise the copy wont work. Your burner has to be compatible tho, or cloney says bugger off to you.

I haven't come across a Safedisk 2 game that needed Subchannel Data checked, but it does no harm in checking it anyway.
The important one to check is the Fast Error Skip - because it is a Safedisk 2 game, you'll only be able to clone it if: 1) You have a SD2 compatiible writer - capable of correct EFM coding and RAW-96 writing or 2) If you don't have such a writer, then get a copy of the newest version of Clone CD (with the Amplify Weak Sectors) - not available in UK or USA (but there is a way round it - look fo 'AmplifyWeak' in the registry and change it's value to 1). This might give you a cloned copy of Max Payne, but not guaranteed.

Well, I did 3 working backups!!!(Max Payne, Operation Flashpoint, Hitman) Didn't read subchannel data... I've got LG GCE-8160B, and it rulez!!!
